Germantown Screen Porch Addition
The owners of this home have contracted The Salvaggio Group to construct a true masonary brick oven into a kitchen that is currently under renovation by another general contractor. The family had seen the brick oven featured in our 2006 Vesta Homeshow house and determinded this would be the perfect accent for thier kitchen. This oven will be completely hand constructed and will have a 36" cooking surface with an 18"; entry portal. The flue is terra cotta and masonry. The unit is extremely heavy and has be constructed upon a reinforced slab and is suspended upon a 1/4" steel plate to allow for a warming drawer underneath.
